Let's Paint!

The hectic pace of the holidays have passed. I find myself eager to get back to the business of sketching and painting...I miss it and I miss the people!  In 2014 I have workshops across the U.S. and I'm returning to Tuscany for two workshop in October! Below I have listed a description of my workshops and I'll be listing the dates soon. If you don't want to wait...visit my website's "Teaching" page.
Happy Painting!

Plein Air Sketching
When working on location I enjoy the freedom of being able to move around easily from one spot to another. I would rather create many small watercolor sketches that expresses the feeling of a place than come away with a larger unfinished painting. I encourage students to work in a size and manner that is comfortable to them. During the workshop I'll work in a variety of ways. Some days I’ll use purely transparent watercolor and the next day I might use pen and watercolor, tinted paper or soluble pens with watercolor...  Benefit from daily demonstrations, friendly critiques, and one on one help. Skill level: All
